Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our School as an Accountant. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software, with a strong emphasis on Tally.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into the school's financial performance.
• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during audits.
• Collaborate with our Chartered Accountant (CA) to fulfill various financial requirements and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate meaningful insights.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and vendors regarding financial matters.
• Provide support to the management team in financial decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Tally accounting software is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with audit processes and the ability to assist in audit preparations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
Schedule:
• Day shift
