Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our finance team at [Hospital Name] in Varanasi. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.

- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.

2. Bookkeeping and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Assist in financial analysis and interpretation of financial data.

3. Taxation and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with taxation laws and regulations.

- Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, TDS, and income tax.

Coordinate with external auditors during audits.

4. Financial Analysis:

- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management.

- Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

- Assist in developing financial strategies to achieve organizational goals.

5. Inventory Management:

- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile inventory records.

- Coordinate with procurement and stores departments for inventory control.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2. Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the healthcare industry.

3. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
