Laboratory Technician

This job is provided by apna.co We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lab Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures, and ensuring that the laboratory equipment is maintained in good working condition. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical laboratory setting and a good understanding of laboratory safety procedures and regulations. Key Responsibilities • Perform laboratory tests and procedures by established protocols and procedures. • Prepare and analyze samples using laboratory equipment and instruments, including microscopes, centrifuges, and spectrophotometers. • Maintain laboratory records and ensure that all results are accurately documented and reported. • Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments. • Follow laboratory safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. • Assist in the development and implementation of laboratory procedures and protocols. • Participate in the training and supervision of laboratory assistants and other staff. • Assist in the ordering and maintenance of laboratory supplies and reagents. • Perform other duties as assigned by the laboratory manager. Qualifications • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field. • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. • Good understanding of laboratory safety procedures and regulations. • Experience with laboratory equipment and instruments, including microscopes, centrifuges, and spectrophotometers. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
