Summary:
Shani Corporation Limited, a leading manufacturer of high-quality uPVC profiles, seeks a meticulous and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you'll play a vital role in upholding our reputation for excellence by conducting rigorous laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished uPVC profiles. Your precise testing ensures our products consistently meet the industry's highest standards, guaranteeing exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of laboratory tests on uPVC raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products according to established procedures and industry standards.
Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive reports documenting findings and recommendations.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new testing methods to optimize quality control processes.
Collaborate with the Quality Engineer to identify and address potential quality issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the laboratory.
Assist in the maintenance of laboratory inventory and ensure proper handling of materials.
Document laboratory procedures and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with coursework in science (preferred).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting, ideally within the plastics or manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
Experience with common laboratory equipment and analytical techniques (e.g., tensile testing, color measurement, impact testing).
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in basic computer skills like Ms Office.
