Staff Nurse

To, provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting.

· On a rotational basis, perform all nursing related work with at most courtesy, dignity 7 empathy toward patients.

· To provide hands on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients, conditions, maintaining records, and communicating, records and communicating with doctors.

· To maintain stock of all required injections/drugs in the department.

· To supervise the daily clinical management of all patient in conjunction with the nurse the guidance of consultants and attend all post-operative patients on day of operation and every day following.

· To discuss medication on discharge with patients, provide health education, and write a discharge summary if requested.

· To, assist in the day-to-day functions at the hospital and any other reasonable tasks, within their level of experience, requested by the hospital.

· Maintain records of usage/supply of injections/drugs/ equipment, for audit purposes.
