Responsibilities:
• Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
• Unit Testing: Conduct unit-testing for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall quality of the codebase.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of development processes, code, and design patterns.
• Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in Android development.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• Passion for technology and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other programming languages and platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
