Senior Database Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time role located in Kochi. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to database development, database administration, database design, and ETL (Extract Transform Load). The candidate will be responsible for utilizing analytical skills to ensure efficient and effective data management.

Qualifications
• Database Development, Database Administration, and Database Design skills
• Experience with MSSQL Tools / Services, SSIS ETL (Extract Transform Load) Tools
• Strong hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries, packages
• Troubleshoot and support existing DW processes.
• procedures, functions and analytical functions
• Analytical Skills
• MS SQL Production Database level performance tuning
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Builds and reports on SQL Environment performance and availability

metrics and takes appropriate actions to implement best practices and optimize performances
• Ability to work well in a team
• Participate in SQL code -review for the application teams to enforce SQL coding standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Responsible for database backup and restore functions including scheduled tests of DR availability, including knowledge of MS SQL restoration and availability Clustering, Replication etc
• Good communication and coordination skills and able to work efficiently under pressure
• A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field
• standards and discipline expected.
