As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities: • Conduct laboratory tests and procedures as per standard protocols and guidelines. • Prepare and handle specimens for analysis, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results. • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure proper functioning. • Record and maintain accurate documentation of test results and other relevant information. • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. • Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking of supplies. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results. • Provide support and assistance to other laboratory staff as needed. Requirements: • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field from a recognized institution. • Prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory. • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and recording results. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Work Experience • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field. • Valid laboratory technician license. • Proven experience working as a lab technician. • Working experience operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment. • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database systems. • Ability to work autonomously and under pressure. • Superb dexterity and hand-eye coordination. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Keen attention to detail. • Analytical skills
