CRMG Operator

Role in brief:
Responsible for operating CRMG crane for loading &offloading containers/ cargo with safe operating procedures andport benchmark performance standards
I.Primary Responsibilities:
1. Operate theCRMG crane allotted as per roaster during the shift by yardsupervisor
2. Follow SOPs carefully in start and Shutdown of crane
3. Transfer containers as per storage/yardplan/dispatch plans.
4. Load and Offload containers fromtrucks/Yard.
5. Take over the crane from previousoperator after ground level checks and report if found anyabnormalities in accordance with safe operatingprocedures.
6. Handover the CRMG crane to next shiftoperator safely and pass critical information or any new updates ifany.
7. Inform immediately yard / tower control officer/ dispatcher in case of breakdown of Equipment.
8.Perform safety checks of the crane in accordance with safeoperating procedures

10. Intervention & reporting of all Unsafeacts/ conditions/Near Misses
II SecondaryResponsibilities:
1. Communicate usingUHFs/VHFs with supervisors for instructions
2. Liaisewith the Yard/Tower Control Officer/dispatcher with UHFs forspecific instruction
3. Check fuel levelperiodically
4. Check Lubricant levelperiodically
5. Periodically check overall condition ofequipment through check list
6. Assist maintenance crewin routine and breakdown maintenance
