Business Intelligence Architect

Provana is hiring a Business Intelligence architect for their data engineering and BI team. The architect will be responsible for designing robust, performant and scalable solutions primarily using microsoft technologies. This is not a people management role but requires mentoring the junior team members. Specifically, the architect should have -

• 7-+ Years of strong knowledge in creating Dashboards/ Visuals using Power BI, Azure SQL and working with customer directly

• Experience in Power BI developing medium to complex dashboards

• Experience in designing dashboards involving large data sets and multiple source systems

• Proficiency with DAX expressions and M language

• Good hand-on exposure to report publishing and security management in Power BI

• Hands on Power BI development experience with high end visualization and experience on advanced visualization tool.

• Mentoring and reviewing the work of several Power BI developers

• Experience in designing, architecting development and deployment using Power BI.

• Experience in data modeling with Power BI

• Excellent SQL skills and performance tuning skills

• Good understanding of BI and DWH concepts and architecture.

• Experience with all the phases of project life cycle and full life cycle implementation of at least 2 or 3 projects in Power BI end to end.
