Web Designer

A Web Designer is responsible for creating the design and layout of a website or web pages. It can mean working on a brand-new website or updating an already existing site. The role demands both creative and technical skills, as web designers must not only make the site visually appealing but also ensure it is functional and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Layout:
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Design the visual layout of websites or web pages, including colors, fonts, graphics, and layout.
• Development and Coding:
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• User Experience:
• Ensure the website is user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to navigate.
• Optimize the site for maximum speed and scalability.
• Maintenance:
• Regularly update the website to ensure content is current.
• Test the website and identify any technical problems.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
• Strong knowledge of web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Understanding of SEO principles.
• Creative Skills:
• Strong graphic design skills, with a good understanding of typography, color theory, and layout.
• Ability to create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables).
• Analytical Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• An understanding of the latest web design trends and technologies.
• Communication Skills:
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Good presentation skills to showcase design ideas and concepts.

Education and Experience:
• A degree in web design, graphic design, computer science, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in web design, including a portfolio of previous work.
• Experience with various content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
