Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Double Dose Digital. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for various platforms and purposes. You will work closely with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver video assets that align with the company's vision and client expectations. Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key qualities for success in this role.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for various platforms including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling video content that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Apply advanced video editing techniques, including color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics.
• Ensure consistency and quality of video content, maintaining high standards for production.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and project milestones.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into video editing.
• Optimize video content for various platforms, ensuring proper formatting and resolution.
• Work closely with clients to understand their vision and incorporate feedback into final edits.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Strong understanding of video production principles, including lighting, sound, and storytelling.
• Ability to work with various video formats and resolutions.
• Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and visual composition.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in digital marketing or advertising.
• Familiarity with social media video formats and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Understanding of SEO and video optimization techniques.
