Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer

We are urgently looking for Design Engineer - HVAC to join our team

Location: Chandivali, Mumbai

Job Description

Ø Create heating and cooling systems and their controls.

Ø Calculations of Heat load to determine how much Capacity of AC units required.

Ø Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints for new construction

Projects. Also draft new plans to design ductwork and piping systems.

Ø Calculate ventilation requirements based on the types of systems needed.

Ø Prepare SLD & detailed HVAC drawings for the project.

Ø Determine costs for HVAC systems and write up detailed budget estimates.

Ø Coordinate and collaborate with Clients when designing cooling systems.

Ø Negotiate with Vendors to optimize the project cost.

Ø Frequently site Visit to complete the project on time. & to check the quality of

work done on site.

Ø Preparation of As-built drawing after site work completion and submit handover

documents to clients.

Requirements:
• Relevant and appropriate experience of more than 5+ years as a design engineer.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; previous design role within consultancy
• Technical Team Leader/Specialist with an increasing reputation internally and externally within their field and responsible for managing a team
• Liaison with clients, developing and maintaining relationships.
• Responsible for completion of projects within his/her team to time and cost.
• Assist the Team leader in presenting design solutions in meeting with clients and contractors.
• Check own designs deliverables and also able to check design prepared within own team and other groups within area of expertise.
• Originates technical reports of acceptable technical and presentational quality. Able to present their work on the project in presentations and meetings.
• Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients is preferred
