Video Editor

Podify is a podcast production company that offers podcast editing, video editing, web development, and writing services. We are looking to expand our team of in-house video editors as full-time team-members who are dedicated, reliable, and talented.

About the Role:

Today it is essential for a podcast to have a video. Our team is composed of video editors and production experts who deeply care about the quality of the shows they work on. As part of the video editing team, you will be responsible for taking raw video and audio files as well edited podcast episodes and converting them into long-form and short-form videos. You will work closely with our creative directors, audio editors, and project managers to create visually stimulating video content. You will need to utilize motion graphics, subtitles, and b-roll to help make every video professional and beautiful. We are looking for people who consider themselves artists and take great pride in telling visual stories. This is a FULL-TIME role and you will expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Confident in making strategic decisions Creative and always think of what’s new and trending with video marketing Have an excellent eye for design and attention to detail Self-motivated, organized, accountable, and can communicate effectively to work within tight timelines Highly creative and imaginative with a love for podcast/video Proven experience as a video editor or related role Experience creating video assets for radio/podcasts/podcast production is a big plus Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Self-motivated, organized, accountable, and can communicate effectively while working within tight timelines Incredible attention to detail, with a strong grasp of the English language and a knowledge of American English
