Job description
Arima Builders is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with expertise in Zoho Books/Tally to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently with GST,TDS

This position is based onsite at our office, and we prefer male candidates for this role.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain financial records using Zoho Books/Tally
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with tax preparation and filing
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum two years experience
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably with experience in Zoho Books
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and other accounting software Tally
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• CPA or relevant certification
• Experience with other accounting software
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations

Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant - Semi Qualified Role for a leading Food Retail Chain Company in Ambattur, Chennai

Job Title: Sr. Executive - Accountant
Exp: 4-7yrs
Location: Chennai, Ambattur
Workdays: Monday to Saturday
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days
Prefers Chennai Candidates

We require candidates with atleast 4-5 years' experience with manufacturing/retail/FMCG companies.

We require candidates with CA/ICWA intermediate qualified persons with 4-5 years' experience post qualification in good industry having turnover of at least Rs.100 crores . He should have completed an U.G degree from regular college and not through correspondence course. (internship under an auditor would not be taken into account as work experience).

Candidate must be hands on experience in advanced excel, GST and TDS. He must have experience in closing monthly and yearly accounts inclusive of coordinating with both internal and external auditors. Work includes daily approval of vendor invoices, bank and cash reconciliation, vendor reconciliations, statutory payment approvals, preparation of daily work schedules to juniors etc.

Candidate must know to speak, read and write English and to speak Tamil (knowledge to speak Hindi would be an advantage). We work 6 days a week.

Candidate must have handled a team of atleast 3-4 persons under him and would be reporting to accounts head.

We can pay upto Rs.55,000 as CTC per month.
