Accountant

Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and financial reporting.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Lead funding initiatives, including identifying potential sources of funding, preparing funding proposals, and managing relationships with investors and lenders.
• Perform due diligence on potential funding opportunities, evaluating financial risks and opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and industry best practices, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Support audits and reviews by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on accounting principles and procedures.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience in funding initiatives, including fundraising, investor relations, or loan management.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with due diligence processes preferred.
