Qualifications
2+ years of accounting and/or business experience and/or education required
2+ years of experience in a challenging and deadline-oriented environment
Intermediate to Advanced understanding and ability to use Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook,etc
Needs little to no work supervision to complete tasks timely and accurately
Team player
Willingness to be a “Go-to” person
Self-motivated and self-starter
Proactive approach to work and communication

Responsibilities
Accounting Specialist primary responsibility is to assist with accurate financial reporting by processing daily accounting duties
This position plays a critical role in the accounting and compliance operations for the company
Monitor daily work and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure results are obtained
Monthly bank reconciliations
A/R duties including invoicing, accurate payment application and customer relations
A/P duties including entering, processing payment, vendor management
Perform collection calls for past due balances
Support Sr Accountant with accounting projects
Assisting Vice President with miscellaneous business projects
Other duties as assigned
