Qualifications
Strong customer services skills
Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate tracking and records
Demonstrates a basic understanding of accounting skills and GAAP principles
Ability to perform data entry with speed and accuracy and utilize 10 key by touch
Core competencies in communication, problem solving, ethics, organization, quality, detail oriented, and confidentiality
The work environment is the typical office environment
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for a variety of clerical and accounting duties related to accounts payable for the organization
Works with leadership for appropriate invoice approval, general ledger coding, timely processing of invoices for payment, and weekly check runs
Maintains vendor accounts
Reviews and researches vendor statements as needed
Prepares use tax reports and processes for payment
Researches invoice and payment information as needed
Receives and processes incoming mail
Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping all information confidential
Other duties as assigned
The employee must be able to complete their work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions, including staff, patients, and vendors walking through and conversing, telephones ringing, conversations carrying over, loud noises, and interruptions to answer questions from others
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls up to 8 hours per day
The employee frequently is required to talk or hear
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and should do so in a sound and safe manner
