Job description
Insight Global is hiring a Tax Accountant for a tax accounting firm in Pasadena, CA. The Tax Accountant is responsible for the preparation of complex tax returns, assisting in tax planning, and working with clientele to complete yearly taxes for personal and business purposes. With 5+ years of experience, the individual is expected to have developed a thorough understanding of tax laws and regulations. They are proficient in tax software and databases, and ensure that all tax forms and documents comply with IRS standards. Key Responsibilities include:
• Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, benefit funds, real estate, and exempt organizations.
• Guide and mentor junior tax accountants.
• Handle tax audits and resolve tax notices, communicating with the IRS and state tax authorities.
• Develop tax strategies to assist clients in being tax-compliant and tax-efficient.
• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in tax laws.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience working as a Tax Accountant
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience managing Tax Preparation, Filing Taxes, and Preparing returns
• Manage IRS and Tax Board notices for compliance with filing
• Hard working mentality and mindset to drive key business initiatives
• Experience working multiple tax busy seasons with external clients

• CPA Certification (Certified Public Accountant
• Prior experience using ATX Software

Annual Compensation:

$75,000 - $110,000 + Bonus Structure
