Job Title: Bookkeeper/Accountant for Mortgage, Real Estate, and Solar Brokerage

Prime Choice Funding, Inc., a dynamic and growing brokerage in Tustin, CA, specializing in mortgage, real estate, and solar services, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for the real estate and mortgage industries.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation of commissions for our team of loan officers and real estate agents.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies.
• Provide support during audits and financial reviews.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant, preferably in the mortgage, real estate, or solar industries.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience handling commissions and payroll for sales teams.
• Knowledge of real estate and mortgage industry regulations and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
