SENIOR ACCOUNTANT QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with bank auditing and public accounting
• Experience working with a smaller bank (under $10 billion)
• Adaptable, flexible personality
• Verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED CRITERIA
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a field such as economics, business administration, or finance with an emphasis on accounting
• CPA license
• Knowledge of US GAAP and bank policies, procedures, and regulations
• Knowledge of regulatory accounting principles and internal reporting processes
• Proficiency in GL systems (preferably Fiserv Prologue), regulatory report preparation applications (preferably SmartCall), and budgeting applications (preferably ProfitStars)

DAY-TO-DAY

The Senior Accountant keeps our client's banking operations on track and ensures their essential financial processes are properly handled. Organization and accuracy are vital as you

oversee various reporting, budgeting, and tax functions. You're involved in all aspects of our client's accounting operations, from forecasting budgets and analyzing investments to reconciling loans and assisting with close processes. You prepare and conduct presentations to board members and coordinate with external consultants to manage tax responsibilities. Attentive to detail, you assist with regulatory finance reports and filings, review data for accuracy, and prepare various banking transactions. You assist with complex accounting matters and collaborate with the controller to complete various projects and audit assignments. You're also responsible for maintaining your industry knowledge and staying up-to-date with the latest changes, ensuring you can effectively support our client's essential financial matters!
