Robert Half is delighted to be partnering with our client to search for a Senior Accountant experienced in the Property Management sector. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a well-established successful company and report directly to the Controller.

Position Summary:

The role requires an individual who is familiar with the property management field, capable of handling multiple responsibilities concurrently and displaying strong analytical abilities. An ideal candidate should be familiar with all accounting procedures.

Key responsibilities:
• Ensuring timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process.
• Organizing, managing, and interpreting General Ledger transactions.
• Coordinating and managing Accounts Receivables (AR).
• Supervising the company’s financial payables including managing Accounts Payable (AP).
• Working with Yardi ERP to manage transactions, generate financial reports, and support the implementation of any new features or upgrades.
• Collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with all relevant finance regulations and guidelines.
• Assisting in yearly budget preparation and regular forecast revisions.
• Conducting regular and ad-hoc analysis to provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations for decision-making.
• Participating in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.

Experience/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in property management.
• Strong experience using Yardi ERP software.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
