Senior Accountant

Job description
We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Seattle, Washington. Operating within the financial industry, the chosen candidate will be instrumental in the day-to-day accounting operations and will also participate in month-end activities.

Responsibilities
• Engage in daily accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
• Execute the month-end accounting process, including balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant software to maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Engage in regular communication with various stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and billing processes efficiently.
• Execute account reconciliation processes regularly.
• Participate in audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Employ general accounting principles and practices in daily tasks.
• Utilize strong communication skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

The pay rate for this position is $35.72 to $51.+4 per hour.

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
• Demonstrated experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
• Capability to handle Month End Close procedures effectively
• Must possess a strong understanding of General Accounting principles
• Excellent Communication Skills are required
• Proven Customer Service experience
• Experience with audit procedures is necessary
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Prior experience in Billing is beneficial
