Senior Accountant Role & Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed account analysis and reconciliation across all balance sheet accounts.
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Navigate complex revenue recognition schedules associated with leases and loans.
• Complete monthly financial statement close in line with scheduled deadlines.
• Prepare annual financial statements and lead the month-end close process for accounts payable, addressing accounting issues and providing guidance to other business groups.
• Collaborate with financial leadership to refine and improve financial procedures.

Qualifications
• Possesses 3-8 years+ experience in Finance/Accounting, ideally with exposure to financial services or real estate related to renewable energies.
• A strong understanding of ASC 842 is highly preferred.
• Demonstrates an expert level of knowledge in GAAP.
• Skilled in managing general ledger functions and familiar with month-end/year-end close processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA is a plus.
