Job Description

Gordini USA Inc. manufactures and distributes cold-weather gloves, mittens, goggles, and base layers under our own brand and private label. We are also Carhartt's glove, base layer, and boxer brief licensee.

We seek a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to assist in our multi-company environment. The specialist will ensure that the companies receive payment for goods shipped to customers and support the Credit Manager.

Accounts receivable duties include attention to detail and accuracy, processing and monitoring incoming payments and posting receipts.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Submits/mails invoices to customers.
• Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections. Review files to identify delinquent accounts and contact delinquent account holders to request payment.
• Makes collection calls.
• Assists with Account reconciliation of customer accounts.
• Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Accounts Receivable Manager and other staff.
• Collaborates with the Accounts Receivable Manager to reconcile accounts receivable periodically (at least bimonthly).
• Assists Accounting Manager in reconciling revenue accounts each month.
• Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
• Relays changes of information to appropriate employees.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as other accounting software programs.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• At least two years of related experience preferred.
• ERP experience preferred.

Compensation details: 21-25 Hourly Wage
