A leading accounting firm specializing in the construction industry is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Denver, CO! This is a fully remote opportunity where you will be in a high-touch, client-facing role where you will be providing a white glove service to a wide range of construction clients from small, family-owned businesses to mid-sized companies. You will manage the day-to-day accounting functions for multiple clients, ensuring they receive top-tier service tailored to their unique needs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a steady, long-term remote work environment, enjoys working with clients to ensure their needs are met with precision and care, and has a strong background in construction accounting. The position is fully remote with flexibility for time zones, but candidates local to Colorado are preferred.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 / year DOE

Senior Accountant Requirements:
• 7 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
• 4 years of construction accounting experience is required without a degree
• QuickBooks Online proficiency
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting
• Tech-savvy with the ability to work remotely and adapt to new technologies
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• Experience with general contractors is preferred

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable for multiple clients
• Perform month-end close, including journal entries and accruals
• Conduct WIP reporting and workers' compensation reporting
• Process payroll (excluding certified payroll)
• Support client audits for insurance and general liability
• Handle ad hoc requests and special projects for clients
• Implement and integrate new software solutions with QuickBooks
• Provide a high-touch, white-glove service to clients, ensuring excellent customer service and communication
• Manage 5-8 clients, depending on experience and performance
