Job Description
We are a small, growing Industrial Construction company seeking an Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accurate accounting Practices. We are specifically seeking a candidate who has experience in the construction accounting business with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics and 3+ years of financial accounting experience. CPA is preferred
Responsibilities
-Oversees/performs overall daily financial office tasks accurately, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll controls, reconciling etc, Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
-Maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliations
-Monitor financial transactions, including debits and credits
-Manage payroll processing and compliance with HR laws and regulations.
-Experience in preparing complex Invoices for Construction clients.
-Computer proficiency in Quick Books, MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook,
-Employee HR including health, dental, 401K
-Coordinate/participate in renewal of insurances and ensure we remain compliant with safety compliance companies, i.e. ISNetworld, Avetta, DISA
-Excel data entry for project costs.
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
-Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
-Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and staff.
-Problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to work under pressure.
Skill Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
· 3 years of financial accounting, economics or finance
· Pay: From $78,000.00 to 10+,000,000 per year
· Job Type: Full-time
· Schedule: Monday to Friday
· Supplemental pay types: Yearly Bonuses

Preferred Qualifications:
· BS/BA degree in accounting, economics or finance is required.
· 5 years’ experience in accounting functions.
