We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's Finance team. Our client is a leading real estate investment trust company. Join a dedicated team with commercial real estate investment properties across the nation. One of the largest in their field! This role is perfect for a skilled staff accountant who wants experience in property accounting.

• Will report directly to the Director of Accounting
• Willing to train staff and develop the staff accountant to senior level within 3 years

Responsibilities Of The Staff Accountant
• Accurately and timely reconcile bank accounts, paying attention to outstanding items at month-end
• High volume of accounts. 100-200 accounts to reconcile on a monthly basis
• Conduct research on historical accounting transactions and reconcile differences between different accounts
• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare related reports and provide explanations of financial statements to non-accounting professionals
Qualifications Of The Staff Accountant
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant. Property accounting experience preferred
• Experience in financial accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
