Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Accountant

Location: Honolulu, HI (remote)

Position Summary: A leading accounting firm is seeking a highly skilled, bilingual accountant. As the accountant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, from financial reporting and analysis to audit and tax support, and will be playing a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Client relationship management
• Audit support

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license preferred but not a must
• Must be bilingual in Japanese
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
