Head of Finance| Accounting and Taxation

YOUR TASKS

In this role you are the point of contact and advisor to the management of Plansee India in Mysore for all Finance, Accounting, and Taxation related topics. This includes overseeing of Accounting, Banking, direct and indirect Taxation, Documentation for Exports, and Imports, Compliances Relating to RBI, ROC, DGFT, Income tax, GST, Customs Etc.

As the lead and mentor of the finance team you foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development and interact with functional heads at group level to be part of a larger finance organisation within the Plansee Group.
• Supervise all financial tasks and oversee all financial operations (accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, month-end and year-end closing, tax, banking)
• Responsible to report on financial activities and controlling activities to the management.
• Ensure adherence to all financial, secretarial, & regulatory compliance requirements like managing internal and external audits and filing of tax returns
• Complete control over the company’s banking and treasury transactions including adherence of diverse regulations.
• Manage exports and Imports control including customs declarations, bills of lading and other shipping documents
• Together with your team you will further develop all accounting processes to increase efficiency and digitalisation.
• You will collaborate with Finance colleagues from other countries on international projects and support them with your knowledge and experience.

YOUR PROFILE
• Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum 15 to 20 years of experience in accounts and Finance role (Preferable from manufacturing Industry)
• Experience with GST Regulations
• Very good experience in MS Office applications and SAP Finance & Controlling Module
• Experienced in exchange with other countries and cultures
• Fluent English oral and written
• Sound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analysis.
• Result oriented and metrics driven.
• Exceptional time management and able to solve problems.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills and team management skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
