Senior Accountant (top privately held Birmingham company)

$65,000 - $85,000

As a top industry leader with global operations, our client is committed to excellence and innovation. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Accountant to join our client’s accounting team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial integrity and ensuring smooth operations across various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in month-end closing procedures and perform necessary reconciliations
• Review, process, and manage AP/AR invoices efficiently
• Examine and verify expense reports for payment
• Complete various monthly and quarterly reports
• Process warranty claim credits
• Perform general ledger reconciliations
• Provide support and resolve inquiries from customers and suppliers

Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required
• 2+ years or industry accounting experience required
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
