Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and be proficient in various accounting software. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the company through detailed financial analysis and reporting. This position will manage financial transactions and assist with payroll, preparation of financial reports, and maintenance of all financial records while working closely with our operations team to handle day-to-day bookkeeping.

Role and Responsibilities
• Prepare project invoices, including generating invoice, compiling backup documentation, and reviewing the invoice for accuracy, precision, and completeness.
• Properly code all invoices and expense reports, preparing them for electronic entry into accounting system.
• Verify invoices are properly keyed to purchase requisitions /purchase orders.
• Efficiently resolves any discrepancies / issues with reports to prevent delays.
• Assist project team with expense reports, including expense coding and compiling supporting documentation.
• Reviewing check requests and purchase orders against current budgets ensuring compliance with federal regulations and the company’s policies and procedures.
• Analyze financial information for accuracy, trends and/or compliance with regulations.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective action if

necessary in order to maintain compliance with GAAP.
• Assist in development of annual budgets
• Track and maintain inter-company expenses/distributions
• Other tasks as defined by manager

Qualifications
• B.S. in Accounting or related degree
• 3-5+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
• Experience compiling, preparing, and reconciling invoices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe as well as large volumes of data and Excel tables. Experience with QuickBooks. INxSQL experience is a plus but not required as training will be provided.
• Experience utilizing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) with large corporations.
