Our firm is seeking a seasoned Tax Accountant with a passion for the finance industry. This is a permanent, full-time position that will allow you to utilize and expand your accounting skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, with a specific focus on high net worth trusts, estates, and client management. You will work closely with our high net worth clients, providing strategic tax planning and preparation services. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented tax professional who is looking to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities

As a Tax Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
• Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for high net worth individuals, trusts, and estates.
• Providing comprehensive tax planning and advisory services.
• Managing relationships with high net worth clients, ensuring their tax needs are met and exceeded.
• Staying updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
• Utilizing QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Collaborating with other team members to improve and streamline tax processes.
• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of changes in tax law and accounting practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Tax Accountant position should possess the following qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on high net worth individuals, trusts, and estates.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is required.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with S corporations is a plus.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
