POSITION OVERVIEW:

In this role, you will be responsible for editing a variety of video content, including:
Faceless videos: These videos will feature voiceover instruction with accompanying visuals, such as instrument demonstrations, sheet music, and animations.
Musical instrument performance videos: You will edit footage of instructors playing musical instruments, ensuring clarity and a visually engaging experience for viewers.
Promotional videos: You may also be tasked with creating short promotional videos to highlight our online classes and offerings.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Edit and assemble video footage using professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Canva, InShot, Filmora, Capcut, VN)
Apply transitions, graphics, and motion effects to enhance video storytelling
Ensure smooth cuts and proper pacing for clear and engaging videos
Maintain consistent audio quality and synchronize audio with visuals
Oversee color correction and grading to achieve a professional look and feel
Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
Work collaboratively with instructors and other team members to understand project goals and requirements
Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality video content on a consistent basis

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a video editor
Proven experience editing faceless videos and instructional content is a plus
Strong understanding of video editing principles and techniques
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut (or similar software)
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality videos
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with musical instruments is a plus
