• Location:

• Role Overview:
• The Senior Staff Accountant is a pivotal member of our accounting team, responsible for managing a variety of financial processes including payments processing, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily cash transactions and approve necessary transfers.
• Prepare and analyze weekly journal entries related to operational expenses.
• Develop and present weekly and monthly financial reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Conduct detailed reconciliations of bank accounts and balance sheets each month.
• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and manage all related transactions.
• Serve as a backup for other accounting positions and contribute to team efforts.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least two years of progressive experience in an accounting role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effective collaboration and presentation.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptive to changing business needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
