Fixed Asset Accountant

Job description
Overview:
Join Acxiom's accounting team as a Fixed Asset Accountant and play a key role in ensuring the accurate recording and reporting of fixed assets in financial systems and financial statements. As a member of the fixed asset team, you will participate in day-to-day activities and assist in other areas as needed on the accounting team. Responsibilities:
• Prepare journal entries and complete monthly reconciliations for fixed asset and other balance sheet accounts
• Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposals in Workday
• Reconcile the fixed asset subledger to the general ledger
• Conduct periodic updates from IT Asset Tracking System to Fixed Assets
• Calculate Depreciation
• Assist with Capital Project Tracking and Reporting
• Assist with Monthly and Ad hoc Reporting
• Assist with preparing and maintaining business process documentation
• Perform account analysis and maintain G/L account balances in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Partner across business lines and functions in supporting the Procure to Pay (P2P) processes, along with FP&A teams
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree 1-3 years experience; or an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - specifically Excel
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Workday knowledge is a plus
• Must be located in Arkansas and work in the Conway Office
