Location: Fully Remote (with travel requirements)

Salary: $150k - $175k + 20% bonus potential and equity

About the Role: Seeking a Controller to take on the responsibility of the month-end close process. This new role is fully remote, with initial travel requirements every other week for the first 6-+ months, and potentially monthly thereafter. The Controller will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company, supervising a team of three, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the company and their products.

Controller Key Responsibilities
• Own the month-end close process.
• Manage the annual audit.
• Handle trade accounting for chargebacks, promotions, and deductions.
• Oversee tax reporting.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Cost management including inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Perform hands-on financial tasks and support the finance team.

Required Experience Of The Controller
• Must have manufacturing experience, particularly with month-end close processes and inventory management.
• Must have branded consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience, including trade accounting, rebates, chargebacks, promotions, and deduction accounting.
• Proven track record in a high-growth work environment.
• CPA certification is a plus.
