We are seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Permanent Property Accountant to join our team. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional who is ready to take their career to the next level in the fast-paced finance industry. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Property Accounting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to our company's financial growth.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Property Accountant, you will
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Property Accounting.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports on a regular basis and provide insights to the management team.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Collaborate with financial staff to ensure smooth day-to-day transactions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to maintain up-to-date knowledge.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge and experience in General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Property Accounting.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
