Hiring Assistant Manager Press Shop Production for Tier 1 Automotive industry at Chennai

Experience: 8 to 14 yrs

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Responsible and accountable in planning and directing the utilization of machinery, equipment and manpower to achieve the most effective results there by meeting departmental objectives.

• Provides instrumentations guidelines to the team leaders & Tooling Team.

• Responsible in meeting the requirements with the customers (internal and external) on all interim and long term requirements through continuous improvement and problem solving approach.

• Maintain the Shop Floor disciplines like 5S, Storage of Stillage’s, Materials.

• Work to achieve the TPM, MAFACT, TS16+4+ and OHSHAS requirements.

• Perform internal scheduled audits like process, LPA, 5s.

• Responsible for completion of all applicable paper work.

• Assist supervisor with tracking of attendance, vacation, overtime.

• Ensures that all associates are instructed and trained on the lines.

• Attend production meeting give safety talks and ensure time to time incident reporting.

• Maintain product quality, integrity and inventory control.

• Organize break rotation on the line based on customer requirement.

EDUCATION & JOB SPECIFICATION:

• B.E/B.Tech Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University with minimum 8 Years’ experience in stamping/Tooling.

• Diploma / Degree in Tool and Die Making/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized technical training institute with minimum 10 years of related experience.

• Certificate in Tool and Die making (Press tool) from a recognized technical center minimum 12 years of experience.

• Relevant Press Shop & Tooling production exposure.
