Position: IB PYP Educator

Location: Bhavnagar & Mumbai Central

Reports to: Principal/Head of School

Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate IB PYP Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IB Primary Years Programme, a commitment to fostering a love of learning, and the ability to create a stimulating and supportive educational environment for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Implementation: Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the IB PYP framework, ensuring a balanced and inclusive approach.
• Student Engagement: Foster an environment of inquiry and curiosity, encouraging students to ask questions and engage deeply with the subject matter.
• Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with different learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborative Planning: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to plan and implement integrated units of inquiry.
• Assessment: Use a variety of assessment tools and strategies to evaluate student progress and inform instruction.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes effective learning and social-emotional development.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with IB PYP practices and educational trends.
• Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues, providing regular feedback and updates on student progress.
• Extracurricular Involvement: Support and participate in school events, activities, and extracurricular programs.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; IB PYP certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably within an IB PYP environment.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity in lesson planning, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
