LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant for direct hire with a client in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This role will be responsible for maintaining company general ledger and improving financial efficiency within the organization

Responsibilities
• Prepare and review general ledger entries
• Assist with daily, monthly and year-end accounting operations
• Perform expense allocations, amortization of prepaids expenses, and fixed assets depreciation
• Account analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Cashflow analysis
• Recordkeeping via QuickBooks

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
• 1 - 3 years' experience in general ledger accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and Sage Intacct
