About The Tax Manager Role
• Act as a liaison between partners, clients, and staff, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
• Manage multiple projects and client engagements, overseeing scheduling, staffing, and workflow as a Tax Manager.
• Lead and mentor junior staff, providing training and development opportunities in the Tax Manager
• Play a significant role in practice development, enhancing technical expertise and management skills as a Tax Manager.
• Handle all phases of tax and consulting engagements, demonstrating proficiency and expertise as a Tax Manager.
• Supervise staff, review tax returns, and conduct performance evaluations in your capacity as a Tax Manager.
• Identify and address potential issues in engagements, developing and implementing solutions as a proactive Tax Manager.
• Communicate engagement progress, issues, and resolutions to clients through written and oral correspondence as a Tax Manager.
• Develop specialized expertise in specific industries, becoming an industry expert in your role as a Tax Manager.
Ideal Candidate For Tax Manager
• Seven years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and tax, with a track record of managing complex engagements.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A valid CPA license is required.
• Proven ability to generate new business and contribute to firm growth as a Tax Manager.
• Active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
