Salary: $50,000-$60,000 based on experience

CFS Indianapolis is working with a manufacturing client in Muncie, IN that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant Role
• Compile monthly and weekly performance reports, monthly forecasts, the annual operating plan, and strategic plans.
• Oversee and evaluate capital expenditure projects and anticipate budget requirements.
• Drive plant cost reduction initiatives and achieve budgeted outcomes..
• Complete accounts payable, non-inventory purchasing, cycle counts, labor and production reporting, and daily departmental activities.
• Ensure bills of material and costing accurately represent production operations.
• Monitor labor productivity and costs, material expenses, manufacturing overhead, distribution costs, returns, and inventory levels.

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant Role
• Bachelors/Associate Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using a variety of ERP systems
