Job description
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the insurance industry based in West Des Moines, Iowa. As a Staff Accountant, you will be involved in various financial operations such as account balancing, reconciliation, and preparation of data reports. Responsibilities:• Conduct monthly reconciliation of claims accounts.• Prepare and reconcile various accounts and bank statements.• Analyze various systems that feed into the general ledger.• Prepare and submit the company's financial and statistical data reports to state and statistical agencies.• Maintain an accurate record of customer credit.• Process customer credit applications efficiently.• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on their status.• Handle any customer inquiries related to their accounts.• Apply your skills of Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations in carrying out your tasks.
