What You'll Do
• Oversee multiple client accounts remotely, ensuring high-quality bookkeeping and accounting services.
• Provide guidance and eventually manage a team of bookkeepers.
• Handle a variety of accounting tasks, including full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and more.
• Manage fixed asset schedules and ensure accurate financial reporting.

What We're Looking For
• 10+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience, ideally in a smaller company or as a consultant.
• Expertise in full-cycle accounting/bookkeeping, including:
• Banking and cash management
• Bank reconciliation
• Payroll and payroll posting
• AP/AR
• State and local tax payments and calculations
• P&L and balance sheet management
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and other accounting software like Ajera.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications
• CPA license.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience in the professional services industry; knowledge of the Architecture or Engineering sectors is a plus.
• Accounting degree preferred.
• Familiarity with Ajera - Deltek Software is a plus.
