We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Cost Accountant in Leawood, Kansas. The Sr. Cost Accountant will be a key player in our team, responsible for various accounting and financial tasks. Your main responsibilities will include cost accounting, budget processes, and fixed asset inventory. You'll also be utilizing various accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel for different tasks. Responsibilities:• Perform cost accounting functions for the organization• Conduct cost analysis to assist management in decision making or other financial initiatives • Manage budget processes and conduct regular budget reviews• Maintain and update fixed asset inventory, ensuring accuracy• Utilize accounting software systems for data input and report generation• Perform accounting entries and reconcile entries and internal ledgers• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation• Understand and utilize Viewpoint Vista for various accounting tasks
