The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of financial records and supporting management with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Manage general ledger functions, including reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, including assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing guidance and training as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis. Monitor performance against budget and report on significant deviations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Prepare for and coordinate audits and reviews.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting procedures.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
