Description

As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee financial reporting, maintain ledger accounts, manage tax compliance, and conduct financial analysis. You will collaborate with various teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure the accuracy of financial information. This position involves high-level accounting management, corporate accounting responsibilities, and managerial accounting tasks.
• Maintain A/R and A/P sub-ledgers, ensuring accurate data validation and reconciliation.
• Prepare and record monthly journal entries.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Analyze financial statements, identify variances, and track key metrics.
• Oversee sales and use tax processes, including return preparation and filing.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting using Excel.
• Ensure accurate accounting of vendor rebates and corporate accounts.
• Collaborate with national counterparts to achieve financial goals.
• Interact with management, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Provide accounting management to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Act as a financial accounting manager, overseeing financial reporting and analysis.
• Engage in managerial accounting to support strategic financial planning.
• Serve as a corporate accounting manager, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform senior accounting manager duties, leading the accounting team and ensuring efficient operations.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in Construction/Design Build accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced skills in Excel (Pivot tables, VLookup).
• Experience with multiple ERP systems.
• CPA preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check post-offer acceptance.
