Responsibilities
Manage full cycle accounting process, including month-end close and relevant financial reporting.
Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statement delivery.
Address tight deadlines within general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, financial reporting, cash flow management, AP, AR, payroll, and various business-related tax returns and forms.
Prepare supplemental schedules such as cash flow projections, bonus calculations, and other KPI metrics to provide meaningful, actionable information.
Maintain consistent communication with restaurant franchise stakeholders regarding financial position, projections, and other necessary information.
Become intimately familiar with franchise business processes to develop anticipatory and strategic solutions.
Prepare necessary documentation for annual audit purposes.
Requirements
Restaurant/Franchise accounting experience, including sales tax - Required
Bachelor of Accounting Degree or 3+ years of equivalent accounting experience within Restaurant/Franchise industry
Expertise in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to establish priorities as well as deliver commitments within set deadlines
Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects within a fast-paced environment
