Job description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the industry of Property Management, based in Lewiston, Maine. The role primarily involves high-level accounting responsibilities, utilizing Yardi Software, from Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.Responsibilities:• Overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure efficient financial operations.• Conducting regular Bank Reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.• Managing the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.• Carrying out Month End Close activities, ensuring all financial data is captured and reported accurately.• Utilizing Yardi Software for various accounting operations, ensuring optimum use of technology in financial management.• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations in all tasks.• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.• Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies to maintain accuracy in financial records.• Supporting management with ad hoc financial reports as required
